Jack Carey here! I love your sight! Debbie and i are just becoming netters, and i have been so very blessed by knowing Pastor Willey. When I came to WQUA radio in 1976, and was seeing God put my life back together for me, I was asked to testify at your wonderful church, and Pastor Willey was in the pulpit that day. i have cut many commercials for Friendship Manor. I look forward to visiting with Pastor for some new counsel and insight as my family and i go through this challenging time of change, as I am leaving broadcasting per se, and broadening my ministry horizon. I hope to ask Pastor Ken for permission to come and present a "Careyconcert" of praise and exhortation yet this year. Please....all who read this note, pray for Jack, Debbie, Alysha and Grant Carey as we are asking Father God to give us clear direction about all we are in Christ, and where we are to be planted and growing. Thanks for your love and for giving freely of what Christ has given to you. May you all be richly blessed as you are poured out for Christ's sake in our QC area.

Very interesting site. Elaine (Thor) and I were married there 12-30-52 (1952) Elaines Dad, Elmer, was an Elder for many years, He and Carline were members of the Loyal Married People's SS class. My parents, Everett and Edna Wilcox belonged to the Golden Circle class. My dad was baptized there, learned to play the church organ from Johnny Gilbert. Elaine's family were all long time mebers. We have many fond memories of I Try with Marian Wilkerson, Christian Endeabor with Marge and Clint Meininger. Just visiting the site brings back many fond memories. Please greet friends Grace Wallace, Bob and Pauline Mitchell, Jack Kline, Barbara and Glen Minor, Bob Carlson.

Megan Forness saying hello!I'm working on my Masters degree in a program that relies heavily on the Internet. We've been examining all different types of sites, and I'm happy to see that my home church is keeping up with the times. It is nice to be able to find out what's happening at FCC when I'm 3 hours away. The site looks really well-done!! My hat's off to you, web committee!

It was such a treat to browse your web site. It was almost like being "home" in Moline again. I have been a member for all my 50 years. Even though I live in Arizona now and have a church here my heart is and wil always be in Moline. If you are looking for a church, look no more. At FCC you are HOME.

Your web page looks just great. I just want to say hi to all those who remember me. I was "raised" by the First Christian Church in Moline and have been very appreciative of all the training and nurturing I received while attending there.

I am now a member at the Beckley, WV First Christian Church where I am quite active in several programs. My faith is rooted in your church and I pray for the Lord's continued success in all that you do. Say hello to those that remember me and May the Lord continue to bless all of you. I am a neophyte at the internet and was looking for some commentary on a particular Biblical passage. Then I remembered that The Visitor said you had a website. I thought it would be interesting to see what was there. My mother is Shirley Nelson, so of course my grandmother is Grace Wallace (and, yes, I am following in their footsteps as a Sunday School teacher. Mother told me not to fight it; it was in my genes.). I plan on making it up there in July for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and I was pleased to find pictures of the new things that have been done with the church. I haven't been to Moline since 1997 and before that my previous visit was 1993. Unfortunately, when I do visit I am always traveling on Sundays, so I haven't had an opportunity to come to church for a long time. That will change in July. I enjoy receiving The Visitor and I use many of the things in it in the newsletter that I do for my church here in Troy, NC. I have been reading Dr. Frahm's and Dr. Kline's writings for awhile and passing them on to the members of my church, which is between ministers right now. It was nice to be able to see what they look like on your website. I printed the history and read through it, recognizing many of the names (I attended church there regularly for a year while living with my grandmother while my father was in Vietnam; I was also married in that church). I am now a Presbyterian, because there are no Christian Churches close to where I live. However, that change was one of the hardest decisions I have had to make and took the longest time. Until I did change, I had always considered First Christian as my home church and had a special feeling for it. I also appreciated your links to other sites, because until I came to your page, I hadn't found what I was initially looking for. This may be more than you wanted for your public guest book. Feel free to delete it if you want. I would like to see some more pictures of the artwork, especially Mom's.
