We own two off-street parking lots, a larger one on the north side
immediately adjacent to the main entrance lobby and the large self-operated
elevator, and another across the avenue to the south. A small city-owned lot is
across the street to the west.
As you enter the door,
the elevator (to all levels) is to the left of the stairs which lead up to the
First Floor and down to the Ground Floor. Immediately to your left as you enter
the lobby is the Crib Room where infants to two years of age are cared for from
7:45 AM to Noon on Sundays. Next, you'll notice restrooms and a hallway leading
to the Parlor and the Southeast entrance.
Beautifully appointed,
complete with a small kitchen, the Parlor provides a comfortable
air-conditioned setting for organizations within the church. It can be divided
into two smaller rooms by a folding door. It seats up to fifty persons at round
tables for meals or meetings. The Parlor can be rented, at nominal cost, for
small community gatherings.
Returning to the lobby, you'll find
a ramp leading to the Northeast entrance to the sanctuary. To your left of the
ramp is a hallway leading into the Charles Willey Education Wing. You first
pass the chapel, which seats about fifty persons and can be used for small
weddings or other services. Next are the church offices, then the West entrance
and the main entrance to the sanctuary.
Formal and contemporary worship, large
weddings, funerals, baptisms and more take place in our beautiful nave.
Cushioned pews, controlled lighting, excellent audio facilities (including
hearing-assistance devices), and air conditioning provide a comfortable setting
for worship. Glorious music, provided by the chancel choir, the contemporary
music team, or one of the smaller musical groups enhances the services. The
Moeller pipe organ, a new electronic keyboard and instrumental combos provide
excellent accompaniment. The sanctuary can also be reached from the former main
entrance at the Southwest corner. Here a wide graceful stairway leads up to the
worship area.

Returning to the lobby, you will
find a stairway leading up to the Second Floor classrooms.
Or you may go down from
the lobby to the Fellowship Hall, which is the hub of many activities.
Fellowship Hall, with its own kitchen, stage, audio system and the Jerry Hall
Study (lounge), is ideal for large meetings, programs and banquets --
comfortably seating 200 for meals. The Hall is available for use by community
organizations for a nominal fee.
